About Fakhra

Fakhra Naseem is a visual artist from Lahore, Pakistan. She studied Fine Arts (Painting) at the National College of Arts Lahore (NCA), graduating in 2010. Over the past decade she has been linked to art education departments in various institutes where she teaches drawing, painting, crafting, art history, sculpture and printing to students of various age groups. She worked on various subject matters and genres including portraits, figurative, landscape and still life in contemporary realism. She has worked on various subject matters and interlinking art movements is basic trait for her contemporary art works.
How Fakhra works
I've been practicing many materials, and I have command on oil paints, acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, charcoal, pen and ink and graphite. completing a piece of art depends on the size, image and material like an oil painting of 2" feet by 2" feet landscape can be done in a week. I can do 3 oil paintings in a month.
