About Bhawna

Bhawna (born in 2001) is a visual artist based in Karachi, sindh. Graduated in 2024 in the department of Fine Arts(BFA) (Major in painting) from Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Arts,Design and Heritages Jamshoro. Her work explores the theme of fusion of Renaissance with childhood joyfulness. Her work has been exhibited in various group shows all over Pakistan

How Bhawna works

My work combines Renaissance imagery with childhood joyfulness through the process of appropriation, creating playful and imaginative narratives. I primarily work with oil paint, occasionally incorporating thread, rope, and other materials when required by the concept. Each piece develops through research, composition, and detailed execution over several weeks.
