About the piece
Artist Description Inspired by the tranquil beauty of Sharda Valley, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, this painting captures a traditional watermill surrounded by the crystal-clear flow of a mountain stream. The landscape reflects the quiet harmony between nature and the simple rhythms of rural life, preserving a scene that is both timeless and deeply evocative. This is the second interpretation of the same subject. The first version of this painting is on display in the lounge of Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar. Through this new rendition, I revisit the same landscape with a renewed perspective, seeking to convey not only its visual beauty but also the serenity, memory, and enduring spirit that make Sharda Valley an endless source of inspiration.
