Artist Description Created during the Skardu Art Residency, this painting is inspired by the breathtaking landscape of Upper Kachura Lake. The lake's mesmerizing turquoise waters, gently floating boats, and the vibrant autumn foliage together create a scene of remarkable serenity and natural harmony. This is the second interpretation of the same landscape. The first version of this work is permanently displayed at the Civil Aviation Staff Mess, while this painting revisits the scene through a renewed artistic perspective. Rather than simply documenting a place, it reflects my emotional connection with the landscape, where color, light, and atmosphere become expressions of memory and tranquility. Through this work, I invite the viewer to experience the timeless beauty of Upper Kachura Lake—a place where nature reveals its quiet poetry through every reflection, every season, and every passing moment.
