Artist Description Created during the Kashmir Art Residency, this painting is inspired by the peaceful landscapes of Sharda Valley, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. A quiet rural path, a gently flowing mountain stream, a rustic wooden bridge, weathered fences, traditional huts, and flourishing maize fields come together beneath the majestic mountains to portray the timeless beauty of the valley. Rather than simply recording a landscape, this work reflects my emotional connection with the place. The winding path invites the viewer on a journey through a landscape where nature, culture, and everyday life exist in perfect harmony. Through light, color, and atmosphere, I seek to evoke a sense of peace, nostalgia, and belonging. This painting is a celebration of Sharda Valley's enduring charm—a place where every season, every path, and every quiet corner tells a story of resilience, simplicity, and the profound beauty of nature.
