Created during the Skardu Art Residency, this painting is inspired by a landscape I encountered in Batakundi, Naran. It portrays a local mountain jeep, rustic huts, and the first arrival of autumn, set against a backdrop of towering mountains and drifting clouds. Rather than documenting a specific location, this work celebrates the spirit of mountain life—where simple architecture, rugged roads, and changing seasons exist in quiet harmony. The local jeep becomes more than a vehicle; it symbolizes resilience, connection, and the enduring rhythm of life in the highlands. Through the interplay of light, atmosphere, and autumn colors, I seek to capture not only the beauty of the landscape but also the feeling of freedom, solitude, and timelessness that the mountains so effortlessly inspire.
