A totally self taught artist Tariq has created his own style of painting in a very short time . He uses a unique and unconventional art medium for his artwork.. coffee ! Yes he paints with coffee which gives his artwork the desired texture and colour . In most of his work one notices the vintage feel of a bygone era . Tariq’s paintings are about historical architecture mosly done by Orientalist Masters of 19th century . His work is inspired by these orientalist . Some of his work shows rural Afro women and their closeness to nature .
